I’ve moved from city to city since I was young, and every time, I faced the same challenge: building a new circle of friends from scratch. As I grew older, it became even harder, especially after moving from New York City to Tokyo. I realized that while human connection is at the very top of our needs, it’s also one of the most overlooked. Existing platforms often stop at surface-level encounters, making it tough to form meaningful bonds.
That’s why I created Fullcircle. It’s built on the idea that friendships grow best when they start from something real and specific, whether that’s a shared craving for late-night ramen, training for a marathon, or just wanting someone to chat with about life. By starting with a simple, quirky prompt, Fullcircle helps you discover your tribe and build community in a natural, fun way.
